I’ve had a couple of TM warranties come through and they’re backed up with some Qi10s and a lot of women’s clubs, so they tend to give a Qi35 as a replacement.
Do you need proof of purchase from TaylorMade or from stores like Dicks, etc., to make a warranty claim? I wonder if you buy a driver off eBay and something like this happens if you can still claim warranty.
@Storm
If the model is within 2 years, you’re good. If it’s older than 2 years, they require a receipt of purchase - new.
Buying used won’t count.
How do I know? I had a Sim2 Max and it cracked last year, but since it was over 2 years since its original release and I bought it from Callaway preowned, they wouldn’t warranty it. I called twice, and they offered me a 30% off coupon - only for full-priced items.
@Storm
If you don’t have proof of purchase, they go by when the model was released and will honor the warranty for 2 years after release. So for a Sim 2 being from 2021/22, they wouldn’t honor it. But if you have proof of purchase within two years, they will. A loophole is if the OP uses a different email and pops the face out of the broken driver to get another replacement.
@Max
2nd Swing’s customer service is great. I suggest contacting them and showing proof of your email exchange with TM. From my experience, they stand behind purchases.

I tried that too, but they said I was out of the warranty period, which is 60-90 days. I was bummed because I hardly got to use my driver. But I appreciate the advice.

I’m happy for you! I ordered a wedge in September and I’m still waiting for it to arrive.
What the heck, how’s that possible?
It’s supposedly a custom order, it’s for one of the NCAA lines, just a simple logo.
I still use a Stealth+ and was considering a new TM driver, but not sure now.
