My TaylorMade Sim 2 driver, which I got for Christmas in 2023, cracked along the bottom. Fortunately, the return process was super easy, and they sent me the Qi10 as a replacement. Big thanks to TaylorMade for the great service—I can’t wait to take this bad boy out on the course.
Cracked? That thing looks run over. Good on TaylorMade though

It started as a hairline crack. I kept hitting it to check if it was just a surface issue.

Yup, it’s definitely not just cosmetic.

I’m a TM employee who accepted the damaged driver and gave the Qi10 replacement.
Can’t wait to see you hit the top of the ball with the bottom of your driver clearly
TaylorMade warranties are solid and they send you the latest version of the club they replace.
Glad you had a good experience - cheers

Will they replace shafts that got damaged?
@Jules
I broke a Ventus Black Velocore and they replaced it without any questions. Honestly, I couldn’t believe it worked.
@Jules
I snapped the shaft on my SIM 5 wood and they sent me a brand new Stealth 2 5 wood as a replacement, no questions asked.
@Jules
A few years ago, while I was at Dick’s, a guy bought an M6 driver and 3 wood from us. He came back a month later with a snapped shaft on the 3 wood.
I contacted TM about a warranty claim and they sent it back to our store a week later after shipping it from NY to CA to get it fixed.
@Jules
I had a driver replaced about 2 years ago that I got through a fitting company. It was just a standard HZRDUS.
@Jules
The adapter on my Adams Idea 2023 Driver broke a couple of months ago. They sent me a brand new custom length Ventus Blue TR 5S shaft.
@Jules
My buddy broke his shaft at the driving range because of a mistake and they told him tough luck. So who knows, that was American Golf so maybe it was their policy.

You’d hope so considering how easily their clubs break.

That wasn’t my experience. They just offered me 30% off after my fairway wood popped off. I was disappointed seeing others got replacements.
@Sullivan
Did you deal with TM directly or through a retailer?

They don’t always send the newest version, sometimes it’s 1-2 models back.
@Micah
In my 4 years of sending them off, I’ve always received the latest version back - but there’s always an exception.
