After 15 years of golfing, I finally did it – I got my very first hole-in-one! Honestly, I’m still in disbelief. I never thought I’d get one, and definitely never thought it would happen on a par 4! The shot was pure magic – a beautiful drive that landed on the green and rolled right into the hole. I’ve always heard the “you’ll never forget your first ace” line, but I didn’t fully get it until yesterday. The rush was unreal, and I’m still riding high from it!
Has anyone else here had a similar experience on a par 4? Any advice on how to soak in and appreciate this moment? I’m almost afraid to go back to the course and try to replicate it.

There’s a hole like that at my club, but there’s a big ravine after the dog leg. The smart move is to lay up with a 5 iron, but on my first run there, I had no clue what I was up against and hit the green with a drive. That was about 4 years ago, and I only just stopped chasing that high in July.

Great round and a hole in one. Nice job! I had one earlier this year and shot in the 70s with it as well. Sometimes it all just clicks.
Absolutely! The ace actually brought me into the 70s; if I only parred that hole, I would’ve carded an 81.
