If you use it, I’m going to ask you about playing at Pebble Beach.
Just be ready for that.
I was recently in the area and decided to check out the clubhouse and grounds. Ended up being at the PURE event where champions tour players were paired with junior amateurs. It was free to watch. I got to walk around the course and saw a 17-year-old girl paired with Ernie Els ace hole 17 live. It was awesome. I bought a ball marker and a beanie without shame since I’ll probably never be back on the grounds.
I played with a guy who had a towel from there. When I asked about it, he had attended a Pro-Am there and had some great stories.
The same person who uses their inside voice when saying ‘fore.’
I was playing with a random guy recently. He hits a pure iron though, and of course, it’s flying right at the group in front of us on the next tee. I say I think that’s heading toward them and he says fore quietly enough for someone 30 feet away to barely hear. The ball lands a few feet from the group. I said great contact but weak fore. People need to yell it like they mean it; otherwise, what’s the point? I saved someone’s life down the road, I like to think lol.
I used to want to save things, but the older I get, the more I realize that if I save it, I’ll forget about it and might as well never have had it. But if I use it, I get to see it and enjoy it a lot more.
So I would go for it and enjoy it. Super cool find.

That’s some hard wisdom right there!
Here’s some more wisdom. Less stuff, less stress! (Except for golf-related stuff)

Like these crazy people who display sneakers on a shelf without ever wearing them. Like, literally nobody wants to come to your house to see your shoes, bro . Just wear them!

It’s impossible to hoard life, but people constantly try. Out for an evening walk and see a beautiful sunset? It’s hard not to think, ‘I love this! This is great. I need to make sure I fully enjoy this experience. And I also need to live my life in a way that ensures I continue to have experiences like this.’
Same goes for possessions. ‘This is a really special possession. I better not use it to keep it safe for the rest of my life.’

Oh wow. Hoarding life.
That’s a perfect way to say it too. I’m going to borrow that.

My buddy got me a ball mark tool like this from Maui, and it was awesome. I used it a bunch and then lost it, and now I hate myself.
