Some similar ones in better shape are being listed for around $250 but I wouldn’t sell it. Maybe I’ll use it for a round and compare it to the left dash.
I’m no expert but they make reproduction golf balls these days for hickory leagues and similar games. McIntyre makes one with square dimples like this but it doesn’t really look like it has been in water for 100 years.

I don’t think McIntyre marks them like this. They do make one similar, but it looks legit. If I were the person who posted this, I’d contact a hickory/persimmon league or the R&A Museum.

Hickory leagues? That sounds interesting.

What does a golf ball look like after 100 years in water?

I could duff that 40 yards for sure.

Shorter distance, less control, inconsistent ball flight. Make your game more interesting with Dunlop!

Just found out I’m in a hickory league apparently.

Why learn the game when you can buy one - Titleist.
Imagine the slice I could put on that bad boy. I’m drooling.

I can’t tell if these would spin more or less than a modern ball.
I would think that after 100 years in water, that ball would have rotted and wouldn’t exist anymore.

Being buried in muck might have preserved it.
For example: English bog bodies.

You should have it checked out and then post about it.

That looks like a perfectly shaped boulder. I can only imagine what hitting that with a modern driver would feel like and the damage it could do to the club.

If it’s real, it would look great in a display with other old stuff in the clubhouse.
