Why was this at Marshall's clearance and why was it originally $40

I have that same Pinnacle box with all the balls sitting in my garage. They were my grandpa’s. They’re very, very old.

They’re still made with rubber bands.

That thing has been there for 16 years. I wonder how much dust they had to knock off to get that new sticker to stick on the box.

Because they’re owned by the TJ MAXX company.

They load up everything and anything for the holidays, especially golf. All those ‘I don’t know what to get him, but this should work’ gifts. Recycled Pro V1s will also show up.

How quickly would those rocks damage a Taylor Made Stealth driver ?

Old age.

They just wanted to clear out old stock.

I wouldn’t even buy that for free.

Those balls are 30 years old.

That’s what Black Friday is all about.

Ah! Someone swapped out the expensive balls with cheaper ones and bought those packs.

Retailers use fake frontline prices to make the discount look severe.

Those were $40 at Marshall’s, maybe 20 years ago LOL.

I don’t think they were ever $40…

The first question is easier to answer than the second .

Even back then, people were swapping balls at Walmart.

If you find Ping golf balls, they can be worth serious money.

Somebody probably bought this at Goodwill and returned it at Marshall’s for more money…

Can you report back on how they perform?
