Why spend $100 on two dozen balls when you can spend that on four?

I usually play Callaway Supersoft, since I’m a hacker. But every time I found a ProV1 on the course and played it, I just got the most wonderful ball flights. Decided to see what the hype is about when I got a nice deal on a bucket ($98).

Don’t hate on the Nitros! :joy: There’s a kid on this planet right now playing futbol made of wadded up plastic bags and rope who may one day play in the World Cup. These are great balls for beginners who don’t have $50 for a dozen proV1s.

@Drew
A pro v1 only goes maybe a yard farther than a pond found nitro when you chunk it 50 yards anyway… :joy:

A luxury chunk of sorts

@Drew
Darn straight. Some of my Nitros have only been out of the sleeve for seconds before it is deep in the woods or bottom of a pond.

Never having to dispute a found ball cuz nobody else plays them but me😅

@Drew
Shoutout to the handmade soccer balls

Every nitro I find on course I either send into the woods or chuck it into the water no one should ever bear the burden of playing those

@Drew
Like hitting a rock. Absolute garbage balls.

@Drew
Keep them and sacrifice one (or more) to the gods at each water feature.

I second this. Of course, it always plays out that I hit one on a part 3 with mostly water between me and the hole, and I park a shit ball 8 feet from the pin. I’m not a good golfer, but I swear, if I ever get a HIO, it’ll be with the most hammered ball in my bag.

The Maxxfli Softflis are $54 for a box of 48 at Dicks and excellent for crappy new golfers like me.

I’ve been playing for a long time - I like the Maxfli soft fly -
I find 6 plus balls a round - lots of proV and super soft balls - I give them away - I like to play the same ball so I pay for the Maxflis
Not much difference in my game with any ball - but I like a softer ball

I played a maxxfli my last round because I was sure it was gonna be lost ASAP. Felt great! I was genuinely sad when I pitched that fucker into a farmers field off the back of the 12th.

If you play your cards right, you can get 4 dozen brand new Maxfli Tour/Tour X balls for $100.

@Kel
This guy Maxflies

@Kel
Maxfli balls are extremely inconsistent. Just one step above Kirkland that was tested almost the worst ever.

They did not test that way. Tested among the best at the same place that found the Kirklands to be awful.
