Which Golf Shoes Do You Prefer?

I’m currently looking to buy a new pair of golf shoes and would love some advice. Do you prefer spiked shoes or spikeless shoes, and why? Also, what shoe brands do you like the most? Any recommendations would be really helpful…

Ecco’s and I have both spiked and spikeless 6 pair, I walk 90 percent of the time I play which is once or twice a week

I have both spiked and spikeless shoes. Honestly, I don’t notice much difference unless the ground is really wet; then the spikes help a little. Spikeless shoes are more comfortable to walk in.

I do spikes when I ride a cart (footjoys) but most of the time I walk and have a couple pairs of ECCO which fit my feet nicely.

I use Footjoy Fuel Sport shoes for soggy, rainy days and Footjoy Flex shoes for hot, dry days. Both are really comfortable for walking. I do want to get a pair of spiked shoes someday.

Gfore, always best to wait when they are on sale. FJs are up there too.

I much prefer spikeless shoes. The True Linkswear OG 1.2s are my favorite by far; nothing else compares.

Just so you know, I have a smooth transition and a moderate swing speed, so I don’t have any issues with my feet slipping, even in wet conditions when using my driver. But your experience might be different if you have a more aggressive swing or a high swing speed.

I wear spiked and water-resistant shoes for morning rounds to avoid mildew. I find the water resistance more helpful than the spikes. For everything else, I use regular shoes and don’t bother with golf brands unless they’re a good value. Right now, I’m using Vans UltraRange. I walk for most of my rounds.

I have several pairs of Adidas MC80s and absolutely love them for comfort, especially when I want a more traditional-looking golf shoe. I also have a pair of AllBird Golf Dashers, which are my favorite for walking the course. I own two pairs of G/Fore shoes, but I don’t find them very comfortable.

Adidas Codechaos, or anything with Cloudfoam.

Footjoy Hyperflex Carbon shoes, both laced and Boa, are great. The only problem I have is that I need to wear quarter-length socks with them; otherwise, they can give me blisters around my ankles. Other than that, they’re really comfortable and stable.
