Looks like a very decent beginner set. Wishing you the best with them.
Clubs are solid. Your bag sucks. Treat yourself!
Sexy. Consider some Takomo irons if you enjoy it. The rest of the clubs will last for ages (skill-wise).
It rocks.
Way better than the clubs I started with, good haul!!!
Great setup. I’d keep an eye out for a sand wedge.
Great beginner set. My buddy games that driver, no issues with it. Now time for lessons.
Yeah that’s a nice bag.
This would shit on my first setup. Hit 'em straight!
Good set. Just need some head covers to hide those white fairway woods. I do not like looking at them lol.
I have the same pattern. I like the weight, but the face is small and can be difficult to hit.
Great sticks.
Great irons, love the old school Mizunos .
Great beginner set. My only concern for the stuff you already have is that the Mizuno MPs are ‘players irons’ and may be less forgiving for a beginner. However, if you can learn to hit those well, you’ll become a great ball striker.
Things I would add:
- something between your driver and hybrids, probably a 3 wood (Ping makes great ones if you want it to look similar to your driver)
- a 50° wedge to fill the loft gap between your PW and 56° as you may have some distance/gapping issues with such a big loft gap
- once you get more and more comfortable with chipping, get a 60° wedge as well, but you can do without this until you are maybe a 12-15 hcp.
Best of luck!
I play the Ping G410 irons, hybrids, and driver. Love them.
Not bad at all. Sweet.
Love it. I game the G410 fairway woods and love them. Also game the Wilson 56 for years and always considered it one of the best value clubs I’ve ever owned.
Great as long as you’re not super short or super tall.
That’s a good set of clubs but those Mizuno are not really for beginners. They are not that forgiving. You may want more wedges in your bag.
