We visited Tot Hill maybe a month after they reopened following renovations. It had poured rain for about 6 hours before we arrived, and didn’t stop until we teed off on 1.
Hardly any standing water on the course, bunkers were great to hit out of. The money they spent improving that course really shows
@Keller
Yeah it rained pretty good the other day. They went cart path only but I think they were being conservative because the course was playing great
It’s a blast. I think we had a better time there than at Tobacco Road

That was my last round before heading to the airport. I’ve played it a few times. I really appreciate your opinion and I love Tobacco Road

Agreed
Didn’t expect Randolph County would be on this forum
When I was single, I would drive 40 minutes 3-4 times a week to play there for $29. I thought it was worth the drive. I hear the renovations are amazing

I didn’t play it before the renovations but even the dormant course was great! Greens were very good for February and the bunkers looked great

Same here! I played there for 40 bucks many times a few years ago. Such a fun course
What’s the rate these days? I played it for $25 a few years back before the renovations. I hear it’s pricey now but it’s a sweet track

Glad they’re doing well. I think it’s worth that if it’s in good condition but it’s out in the middle of nowhere. Glad you got to play it
Where is this course? Looks cool

Asheboro, NC
It was on my list when I was in Charlotte for work but didn’t get to play as many rounds as I wanted. Head over to Tobacco Road. Great par 3s as well

I’ve played it a few times. I have an 8:40 tee time before I fly home from Raleigh! Always a treat
The par 3s were fantastic. The signature par 5 was pretty good. I thought the rest of the course was just okay. I prefer Tobacco Road much more
Great track! Not a boring hole on the course
