Forget all the slow player complaints; this guy was keeping up with the group ahead of him just fine.
Super fit looking muscular 6ft+ guy walking the course carrying his bag single arm the whole way. Jumped a small stream that crosses the center line of the course with the bag in hand several times.
Couldn’t hit a drive for shit. I don’t think he ever got more than 50 yards out of his driver.
Whatever he used after his driver (iron/hybrid???) would absolutely send the ball what looked like 200 yards consistently in a dead straight line.
Hit a ball dead center into a small tree to have it bounce 10 yards behind him in almost the exact same spot/line. Picked up his ball afterwards and just walked to the next tee without finishing the hole.
Never even dropped his bag when putting; just pulled his putter out and putt with one hand.
It was a beautiful mess but he looks to be having a 20+ handicap blast.
The beauty of the game my friend. Not everyone wants to be the next Rory. For some the exercise and time alone is the goal. Much rather be behind that than a 4 under guy who takes 65 practice swings and eyes every putt for 4 minutes.

It’s the peace and not thinking about work, just the game, that keeps me hooked.
I suck at golf.
I love playing golf.
Same, it’s so easy to forget everything happening in life, enjoy a great walk, smell the pine trees and fresh grass, and just take what the golf gods give you in terms of quality of shots. I can shoot a 110 and go home with a smile on my face, feeling like a million bucks.
