Could they fit any more bunkers in front of that green

It’s their signature hole. The bunkers look like a bear paw

That’s pretty cool and intimidating
@Grayson
If you can keep it left, it’s actually an easy hole. I played it once and tried to drive the green but ended up short left. So it was a happy accident lol

It’s a driveable par 4 too. Very fun hole
I shot my personal best of 76 there a couple of weeks ago. Great course, but the green on the signature hole can be a real challenge

Never seen a pin on the bottom left tier
@Noor
When I played last, it was right on the edge between the upper and lower tiers, top right from this view. I’ve got words for the greens keeper when I see him

I also shot my personal best when I played there last week. My pin was at the very front, but of course, I had a downhill putt that didn’t go well. Just happy to walk away with a bogey on that hole
Moving to Colorado next month and this is definitely on my must-play list

Pole Creek should be on there too, though it’s closed for the season

I’ve enjoyed some other great courses out here like Raindance National, Pelican Lakes, and Fossil Trace

To manage expectations, I played it a few weeks back and while it’s a cool course, it’s not as great as it sounds. It’s a stretch to say it’s worth even $150. It’s nice to play once, but I wouldn’t recommend playing there more than that
@Mal
Where do you recommend in Colorado for public courses? I’m not moving there just for golf, but I don’t plan to give up this hobby

I just sent you a message!
I shot a 40/55 split there a few weeks back. Absolutely beautiful course— the back nine is a challenge though
That deer is right where my drive would go. That guy needs to move to safety
Love that course
That’s my favorite thing about this course. Even when it’s busy, you feel like you’re the only one out there
