Haha, for real though. There’s actually a lot of desert scrub out there, plus plenty of palms and Palo Verdes to block shots. It’s a tough track. La Quinta and Palm Springs isn’t just a barren desert in any way
Just so you know, the 3rd and 4th pictures show the two coolest golf shots I’ve ever taken. In the 3rd, I hit a 9-iron OVER that ridge to cut the corner and land back in the fairway. The 4th picture is simply the craziest par 3 I’ve ever seen. Don’t miss, haha

The tee box is turf because it’s only a 10’x10’ patch on top of a mountain that you have to hike to. It would be tricky to get a mower up there
Fun course! I somehow shot a 77 there a couple of months ago from the Whites
As a 12 handicap, I shot a 64 in a two-man scramble there. One of the most fun rounds of golf I’ve ever had! The scenery against the mountain is beautiful. P.S. I was playing with a scratch golfer, haha
I love the mountain course
Still sad our tee time was cancelled in December 2023 because of all the rain
