Nothing beats shooting 130 at 7 am

Imagine how boring golf would be if you only hit the ball 18 times.

That’s the perfect time to shoot 130.

Shooting 18 is impossible and you know it! Kim Jung shot a 38 (including 11 hole-in-ones) and then quit golf because he was too good and the game wasn’t challenging enough.

So the takeaway is to shoot 39 or worse to keep the game interesting.

@Kai
Interesting to note that he scored 11 hole-in-ones (average of 1 stroke per hole), but on the remaining 7 he averaged 3.85 strokes. Just like us!

I actually believe Kim legitimately shot a 38 on a mini putt course and nobody corrected him lest they and their families face consequences.

@Kai
I don’t believe you. Not because the story is far-fetched, but because of your username.

Love a quick 9 before work.

Dude, you broke 140. Congrats!

Getting your money’s worth.

Show off.

I thought you were talking about yardage at first.

129 and lower does.

Shooting 130 allows you to enjoy your time on the course.

More strokes per dollar.

Imagine showing up at 7:08 thinking you’ve got the first tee time to see some dude in front of you shooting a quad on every hole.

This. Please tell me you managed to play in 3 hours or less. Nothing screws up an entire course for the day like slow early groups.

@Sloane
Silence is violence. We need to know haha.

Did you finish in 3 hours or less? We want to know!

I’m in Chicago. If I show up at 4:45am on a Tuesday in July, and just tee off on the park district course (they let you do this, pay when you’re done), it’s guaranteed that some fool is out there already with lighted balls and the golf skills of a toddler, lol.
