They are great from what I’ve heard! I have a Ping G430 Alta 4H 22° and it’s quite possibly the best club I have in my bag. Goes about 220 yards with a tight dispersion. Sure, I’ll get the occasional errant shot but most mishits with this club will travel at least 130 yards. I haven’t personally tried Ping’s woods but they are usually the most forgiving clubs out there

I have the G430 5w and 4H. Both are awesome clubs, but the 4H I can hit from the fairway, rough, and tee with awesome results. The 5w really only comes out when I need to attack the green on a par 5. Scrapped my 3w and picked up a mini driver

The 4H is truly an amazing club. I can use it for so many different situations it’s crazy. Sometimes I’ll just play that club entirely on longer holes when my driver isn’t cooperating because I know I’ll get it into play at some very respectable distances. I’ve even used it to putt on the last 6 holes when I forgot my putter at a prior hole (chipped in a shot and forgot to pick my putter back up, yeah I’m an idiot). It was actually a decent club to putt with

Can confirm, got fitted for the LST Driver and then bought the 3w SFT. Love both of them

I’m not new, and they’re great choices! Love the clubs

What makes them so forgiving? Looking for new woods sets myself

I used to say I didn’t like Ping. Hit and fell in love with the 430 Max 10k. A guy I played with hit and loved my 7w and wanted to buy it. So I made him a deal on it and ordered a 7w 430 max. Decided my 3 wood should also get replaced. Then decided a 4 wood would also be cool. So now I’m Ping 7, 5, 3 wood and driver

Ugh I wish there was a 4. I’d rock the 7, 4, and driver

That’s kinda where I started, but I’ve got a couple holes that 7 isn’t enough and 3 is too much if I get a little wind. Then I was finding from pretty much anything over 210 I was pulling my 7w and just trying to play a cut to take off yardage instead of going 4 or 5i. Figured if I was willing to try that, why not pull the 4i and play a 7w. The 3 is still on order. But I’m thinking de-loft the 7 a few and with the 3 up 1 to try and widen the gaps a bit. If you wanted a true 4, probably turning a 5 down would get you there

Or a 5 with a 3 wood shaft. I play this to get more height but be almost as long as a 3

Buy the 3 wood and de-loft to 16.5°, cut the shaft down a bit if it suits you

As long as they’re not from Temu they’re great

In Gg/Dicks, Ping is the only company that you don’t earn rewards points on by the way

Where can you get points for getting fitted for a Ping driver? Didn’t know that was a thing

No clue, I got fitted and bought through a Ping rep at the PGA store and didn’t earn any rewards
