Let the 4 putts commence…

@Kim
Maybe just coincidence; Sycamore uses a leaf similar to the one on there. Love the set up, enjoy the 4 putts.

Thanks! A quick search tells me a sycamore tree, native to eastern and central United States, has a leaf shape like the one you referenced. That’s probably the coincidence. Sub70 is out of Illinois, and Sycamore Brewing is out of NC. Central and eastern United States. Boop.

@Kim
Huh, you know, it just escaped me that a sycamore tree is a thing haha. Cheers, my man!

I like dat.

Nice. I went back to a triple wide blade/center shaft myself this year and have been loving it. Only shaved like 2 putts off my average, but hey, it’s something. And I like the feel a lot more.

This is my first center shaft. Hoping it helps.

@Kim
Odyssey Tri Hot Triple Wide CS is the one I went with. I missed the soft feel of that faceplate. I’d definitely recommend checking it out if the Sub70 suits your view but not feel. You can find them on the pre-owned site for like $180 or so. Ping the guy who’s always on here; I forget his username.

I have the exact same putter coming my way, hopefully any day now! Only thing I dislike about it is that you can’t use a normal blade headcover because of the center shaft.

With the right amount of money, I’m sure you can get a custom head cover for the center shaft.

I have a center shaft putter, and it fits a lot of blade head covers just fine. I know it’s tough taking the risk buying online though.

Seems like a reasonably priced brand… are they new?

Unsure actually. I don’t think they are new, but not a big brand.

Hey OP, nice putter… but if you wake up one morning and your carpet/rug is gone… I may have something to do with it. Great look!!

Thanks! I’ll pass that along to the interior decorator. She will appreciate that.

Nice putter from a local-to-me company that also makes some great irons/wedges.

Around these parts, we call a 4 putt a ‘chocolate sombrero’… as in if you 4-jack, you deserve to wear a hat of shit. Feel free to use it next time you witness such splendor on the greens.

@Arin
Lol. Love it.

I bought this same putter last year on Black Friday and it’s still in the bag. Love the putter, hate the head cover.

Was about to order mine, and the rep I had been exchanging emails with told me to wait a couple of days until their Black Friday sale started. Wouldn’t have known otherwise. Pretty solid. Why do you hate the putter cover? I think it looks clean. Functionality?

But this time it’s in style!

You’ll probably putt really good with it the first time you use it. Update us on what happens after your first round with it.
