Use your sand wedge. Really close the face and hit straight down behind the ball. Don’t hold back on your swing. You’ll get it out eventually.

Don’t forget to replace your divots.

Club speed is key here.
Yeah, I carry a crowbar instead of a 60-degree wedge for exactly this reason.
My 79-degree wedge landed 5 feet short of the target.
Why are you standing like that?
That’s why you should hurry when playing golf and not take a toilet break after your tee shot.
OP standing like this .
I think this counts as a free relief…
Phil in the distance with a crowbar saying it’s playable.
Make sure to fix your divot.
How long were you looking for your ball?!
Oops, I guess I should’ve repaired that divot he landed in! Sorry!
Take a drop.
Never leave your jackhammer club in the car.
Play the ball as it lies. I had to hit the ball off Frankenstein’s foot, remember?
Unusual ground conditions. You’re entitled to improve that lie to something more favorable. In fact, you should have placed the ball just in front of that unfair divot, giving yourself the best chance for a bunker shot. Or just drop outside of the bunker.
@James
Look again lol. There’s no bunker in this picture.
