I built my own Top Golf in my backyard because it got too pricey

I don’t think you’re using Amazon correctly.

There was a seller who makes any sign you want for $30 and it delivered in 3 days. My wife doesn’t use Amazon correctly, though. She thinks it’s her personal playground.

You bought a 50-yard sign on Amazon.

Lol, technically both are true! I had to ‘make’ the design to give to the manufacturer.

Don’t know why we got downvoted for these comments.

Because no one has ever said ‘wow, thank you for being pedantic.’ Everyone knew the point. Being pedantic doesn’t make you smart or interesting; it makes you unlikable.

I don’t like you, how’s that?

Because you all are being weird about buying a sign on Amazon? I’d buy it too. I’m not going to waste time making something durable enough to sit outside.

Welcome to this forum.

My wife thinks I want property for practical reasons, but this is why I want property lol.

Yeah, you can do so much fun stuff with a big property. This is just the start of the fun things you can do.

Unless you are growing food or generating energy, there’s no practical reason to own land. It’s purely for pleasure.

And? If you own 50 acres, you can split them up. 8 for food, 2 for energy, and 40 for golf.

Perfect.

That’s literally the dumbest thing I’ve read in a while. There are tons of reasons why owning land is good. Large areas of land are valuable.

Man, you’re consistent with that club. I’ve seen you hit 20 shots and they all go exactly the same. Nice work!

So I moved into a new house a few months ago and I’m lucky to have a drainage field right next to my place. I bought some targets, glow balls, and lights for the backyard. We hit from my patio and the drainage field goes about 85-90 yards into the woods. It’s like a chipping Top Golf and it’s actually turned out better than I expected. You know it’s a hit when even my wife says this is really cool. This video is my buddy Johnny’s first time trying it.

I’ll share some other photos in the comments. If you have any questions, feel free to ask!

What type of balls do you use? Every LED ball I’ve tried feels like hitting a rock.

Not gonna lie, these balls feel hard too. But we only hit it 90 yards or less, so when you hit it flush, you can’t really tell. When you hit it thin, though? Ouch.

GlowV1 is the best, in my opinion, but still hard.

Night Eagles actually hit pretty nice, and they’re great because you turn them on by shining your phone light on a specific part instead of being hit activated, so they won’t turn off randomly.
