Golfing in January in the PNW

I have that exact pushcart

Good times :slight_smile:

Rainier Beer man. I still can’t tell if I actually like it or if it’s just the worst beer ever lol

I’d rather be stuck in my tiny, grey cubicle trying to manage automated production tasks. [sigh]

What brand is that driver headcover? It looks cool

It’s a crochet alligator from Etsy

No golf here in Ontario, Canada until at least mid-April. I’m starting to get the shakes

Saturday can’t come soon enough.

Go Ducks!

That’s a lot of wedges. Any regrets? I have a 45, 50, 56, and 60. I notice some gaps in my yardage, mostly 75-90 and 115-125.

Let’s go Ducks. I really dislike Ohio State. I went to UO law for my second year of law studies, so that loss was rough.

We’re heading out soon, can’t wait

I love winter golf in the PNW. I think we are often underrated for year-round golf. I’d take our chilly, slightly damp rounds over the scorching heat in the summer down south any day.

Plus the courses are much less crowded.

Was hole 12 still a temporary green? It was when I played on the 1st.

Yes, the windstorm caused a lot of damage there right before Thanksgiving. They’ve done a great job cleaning it up and making the course playable again.

This bag looks confusing. The irons seem like game improvement, but then there are four Vokeys, which makes me think they’re more serious. Looks like there’s even a 2 iron instead of a 5 or 7 wood. I’m guessing older player with a low single-digit handicap.

@Wade
Power loft Ping G series irons, Honma TW-X 3 iron (mostly used off the tee), plus a lofted up 3 wood. I’m happy with my irons so I haven’t felt the need to change them.

Just wanted to say, I wasn’t being critical. More like complimentary. I meant it looks like the bag of someone who knows their stuff.

@Wade
Absolutely! I’m an equipment nerd, buying, selling, and collecting clubs as a hobby. It changes a bit based on the course, but I love my functional yet unique bag.

Saw that Ping wedge and thought that looks about 44 degrees or so
