Yup, you should be ok usually need about a 4 hcp to breeze through pat.

Sure you stand a chance. If you can keep the ball in play, have a one-way miss, and a decent short game you definitely could. With pins cut in the center of the greens and playing from ~6300-6400 yards, you basically just have to break 80 (depending on course difficulty) twice.

PAT test maybe - what’s your 'cap? If you’re close to scratch, you should be good to go unless you don’t know the course.
@Weston
I didn’t keep a cap on Golf Canada, but roughly a 4-5? I’m just enjoying golf lots, got into it 2 years ago and just working away at it. I’ll have time before the tests to go play the course it’s at too. But since the winter started made a big overhaul on my swing and it’s been getting a lot better. Hoping these changes help on course!
@Will
Started two years ago and roughly a 4-5… I’m so jealous! Good luck man!

Yea same, I guess it’s a testament to OP’s hunger to get better. It’s definitely possible! Swing is great for 2 years in tbh.
@Will
You’ll need to play two rounds in the same day to 7.5 average differential.
For a 4 handicapper, this means two average rounds will scrape it.
