@Sky
He hit the first one into the lake. I used my shot and he nailed the next one onto the green.
@Sky
Do you get your entry fee back at a long drive contest if you get hit by a broken driver?

That’s Wes Patterson. He was at a tournament I was in and let people hit from his tee for $10. He mentioned that the guy he hit was from the long drive contest.
I’ve played with Wes a couple of times. He’s a good golfer with a plus handicap. Way better than a lot of long drivers.

And the club head too!
He kept saying there’s no way that will hit them.

I used to find that joke funny. Still do, but I used to more.

This is one of the few places I can use it regularly, so I do it at least four times a week.

I had an ant farm… nothing grew.
When I was a kid at a Montreal Expos game, I saw a bat get broken and fly into the crowd above the dugout. The sharp piece hit a guy in the head and got stuck there.
He came back at the end of the game with stitches and the bloody bat trying to get it signed. The player gave him a signed bat that was intact.
@Frost
I think I’d rather have them sign the broken bat. Anyone can get an intact bat signed.
So close to losing an eye from an errant driver shaft.
You don’t see that often.
Yikes.
Too much power in one package
That driver has some serious spin, definitely sliced.
Just checking my swing. How are we doing?
Now I know the answer to a question like what’s worse than going to a long-drive competition?
The lady in black has no idea what just happened. Haha

The club head or the ball?
