I got one this summer and love it! Get a dremmel and polishing cloth attachment (make sure it’s soft) and you buff out a lot of the dings. I managed to.
I have one in my regular rotation. I made fun of them when they first came out and then tried one for a bit and loved it.
Been playing the last 10 years with one. Found it in a bucket of used equipment in a store in Joburg. By far the best putter I have had over the 20 years of misery on the golf course. Paid the equivalent of 30 US dollars, trades on eBay quite a bit higher now.
This is the like the putter equivalent of those weird ass Kobe Bryant Adidas lol.

Was my first reaction too until I saw the brand haha, but I’ll try it out and if I don’t like it I’ll go back to my $50 Nike I’ve used for the past 10 years maybe.

I once had a guy chase me down across a golf course because I found the putter cover laying in the rough on #2 and velocroed it to the back of my bag hoping someone would see it and claim it…
Guy accused me of stealing it saying it was worth $500 on ebay for just the cover… lol.

Idc how good it is, this thing is so ugly there’s no way I could putt with it.
Used for a decade… great putter- takes practice to hit longer putts solid- money on mid to short putts- recommend an oversized grip.
I game one of these that I got on eBay. Love it.

I have two of these literally beside me right now.
The OG and also the phantom version.
Both of mine have milling on the face. Neither are dead flat faces like this picture appears to show.
The paint doesn’t even look like mine. This pictured one looks more matte looking.
I would happen to agree with you on this possibly being a counterfeit.

These things were made of soft aluminum, so likely worn down with age and use.
It’s possible someone did counterfeit the OG Futura, but it almost certainly wasn’t common and you’re far more likely to find a genuine one these days than an obscure fake.
