Final round of the year

@Haven
If there’s a decent slope to go with it, anything in the high 70s would drop you even lower than 1-2 differential. Also, your country club from the tips is not a 77 rating…

Sorry, they revised it since the course was remodeled recently. It’s a 75.5/148 according to the new scorecard

Bethpage Black. It’s 77.5/155

Oh, Bethpage Black… they had a US Open there! That’s amazing! Enjoy your round, bro

@Blake
And a Ryder Cup next year

From the red tees, 6200 yards; it’s like a 71/144 but plays WAY harder than that

Looks like the right move off this tee is to hit it onto that parallel fairway to shorten the hole. Is that hole #1 on the Red course?

No, it’s actually #1 of the Green course

@Frost
Can you play it up that hole, or is there OB from the Black?

You can, there are no OB markers there. Not really advised though since the trees between the fairways block the approach to Black #1 from the adjacent fairway

I know it’s tough because everyone says it is, but it looks pretty flat. Are the greens tough and is the rough long?

It is not flat

Lots of hills. You have to be ready to walk all of it since no carts are allowed. The greens are the toughest part, plus the fescue and rough are no joke either
