Why? This is a gathering of the best amateur golfers on earth. 320 yard drive minimum. 25 putts per round max. Those are requirements for this forum membership

@Haru
I think we all have under a 5 handicap

I definitely have multiple handicaps

@Haru
I might have 4 rounds with under 30 putts in my life. I’m staying away from this place. I’ll stick to my easy municipal course and be happy with my sub 90 score

Or maybe only allowed between 1 and 1:15 like the pool in Caddyshack

I’m just getting into the swing of golfing. Well, more golfing that is. AZ checking in

South Louisiana here, my local course is busier this morning than it’s been in 4 months

Always wondered how many 100s get posted there daily. With a 7.7, I would only give myself a 50/50 chance of breaking 100

It’s honestly not that bad from the non-pro tees. Just keep it in play and play the course as designed and you’ll be good. I’m an 8 and my best there is an 86

@Bevin
Yeah, stay out of the tall stuff and you’ll be fine. I shot an 80 there three months ago by just focusing on keeping the ball in the fairway and playing conservatively. To be fair, the greens are the hardest part because they run super fast no matter the season

For what it’s worth, I’m a 22 handicap and shot a 105 there a few weeks ago from the 6700 yard tees

There’s plenty of elevation change. Nothing drastic, but lots of hilly terrain after hole 1. The fairways are narrow and the rough is punishing. The greens are pretty flat, some might say subtle

Yeah, it depends on what tees you play. Most people play the whites

It’s the next hole that doesn’t suffer fools

And hole 15

And my nemesis, hole 17

15 is the hardest golf hole I’ve ever played. It’s like, ‘hey, let’s just make one of these greens absurdly difficult, with a long, semi-blind approach? It’ll be HILARIOUS’
