Idk what happened but the gods absolutely blessed us today. 2/4 didn’t show up for my group (2 randoms) and similar story for the group ahead of us. We did 9 in 1:45… and then drank in the bar for 3 hours talking about how fast our round was lol

@True
The weather looks great. Especially for December. :golf:

It’s been pretty damn cold for a month or so now. We got super lucky with mid-high 50’s here this weekend with the weather getting very cold tomorrow and through the rest of the week. Every course in this area was packed this weekend.

I was going to guess Indian Peaks.

Westminster in the winter… loving the view of those Flatirons!

Pretty, but three groups on the same hole is tough.

I didn’t even realize that until you said it. This round was super fast, like sub 2 hours, closer to 1:45. We waited for a collective 5-10 minutes total if I had to bet.

@True
Jfc that is miraculous. If I pulled up to a tee on any hole on any course in my area and saw two groups ahead of me, that would be a six and a half hour round.

It’s a 550y par 5 that’s not very easy to reach in 2. It plays into the wind and it was pre windy today, 15-20mph. There is a pond in front and to the right of the green that you really need to carry all the way to the green. It has a pretty steep run off down the front.

Having a group on the tee, walking towards the layup area to hit their 3rd shots, and one on the green is really not a big deal.

Welcome to Denver golf! Getting a tee time for more than 1 player in the morning is literally impossible and weekend rounds are usually 4:30+.

This is actually ideal for pace, everyone ready to hit as soon as they can. See: Scotland.

Was almost 60 today in Baltimore with hardly any wind—bunch of us took advantage although the first 2 greens were slightly frozen :joy:.

I was out at Buffalo Run today for a 10am tee time.

Those clouds about killed me. So cold without the sunshine.

I didn’t get to play today, (had to do Breakfast with Santa with my cousins…) but the people out there looked COLD. I was glad to get a round in yesterday - sun, light breeze, and was comfortable in a tee shirt and light hoodie.
