I bought my wife a gift from the Pebble Beach gift shop (not the pro shop). It was a luxurious bathrobe, and she’s worn it almost every day for the last 10 years.
This is the way.

I’ve picked up quarter zips, ball markers, etc. from everywhere, but the best is probably the tartan driver headcover from The Old Course. I don’t use it, just display it. It cost exactly $25 more than my first house payment did in 1992.
When I travel and play golf, I buy a ball marker from the club, not the poker chip style. I have a canvas with magnets behind it to hold the markers.

We want to see your display!
@Finch
When I get home, I will take a pic. It isn’t as impressive as I wish it was. Most are from Florida and a few are from my favorite sports teams that I use on the course.
I also have to paint the canvas. Yeah, I’m not great at arts and crafts.
@Yani
This is an incredible idea. You’ve got to show it off to us.
@Yani
Definitely following to see this. That’s cool.
Not sure if Gullane will have this, but I’ve started buying t-shirts.
I have enough golf shirts and quarter zips. Plus, they’re always so expensive at nice courses. $150 for a QZ to match my dozen others? No thanks.
T-shirts get a lot of casual use and put a smile on my face.
I went to Hyannisport in Cape Cod this summer and picked up a Johnnie O vest with their logo on it. It’s not crazy, but I use it every day.

I’m not a vest guy, but I think the half zip would be something I’d wear a lot, both on and off the course.
@Reese
I work in finance, so it’s a rite of passage .

Dude. I wanted to make a joke but held back! That’s so funny.

Let it rip, lmao.

I love their logo.

I did something similar with Captain’s Course over in Brewster.
I went to Pebble in August and got a cool hat that says ‘bucket list’ with a check mark on the side.
The inside has a picture of Pebble Beach on it.
I’ve been rocking it locally on the courses since.
At a bachelor party in Monterey a few years back, I couldn’t pass up a driver headcover from Spyglass.
Besides that, I got a bunch of quarter zips and a couple of polos that I still wear all the time.
@Morgan
That headcover is incredible. My father played Spyglass in the 90s. To this day, he says it’s the best course he has ever seen by a huge margin.
I got a pin flag from the WM open when I went, a pin flag from the Masters from when a family member went, and a pin flag at Sweetens Cove along with a t-shirt and a putter cover when I played there. I also got a couple of hats at Wannamoissett (not a destination, but a pretty exclusive course around these parts). I have the flags framed in my basement and plan to keep doing that for really special ones, and mostly hats or ball markers for others.
@Branley
Amazing find! I would rock this forever.
