He seems to be attempting to pass for a southern Feherty. His lack of humor is the only issue. He’s one of the main causes of this season’s awful NBC golf coverage.

I like his podcast. Can’t tolerate him on TV.

Golf commentary is difficult, but not terrific. Too much, “This could be his/her week!” And she was “a great player and an even better person.” The bingo card fills up quickly.
When Knost commented that Cantlay’s ball was wetter than he was during the playoff at St. Jude, it was the final straw for his desperate humor. Gross.
