$450 for TaylorMade Stealth Irons a good deal?

lol “I undersold it”. People checking their used Facebook clubs sweating right now.

I used fake pings for 6 years and never knew the difference because I’m bad. I’ll bet 80% of people who have fakes will never know.

@Phoenix
Jesus it says 4-6 in that. Who the fuck is buying all of those?! Lol.

@Phoenix
Appreciate the feedback! Sent you a message.

@Ari
No.

Look at the “T” in TaylorMade on the wedges 2nd from the bottom and 3rd from the bottom. Why do they look COMPLETELY different??

Sticker on the 3rd from bottoms shaft is in Spanish and says made in Vietnam. I don’t think TM has factories in Vietnam.

@Uma
A lot of Taylormade clubs are made in Vietnam; they also have the made in Vietnam in English and Spanish on the sticker. IIRC they also have a ball plant there.

Source: I almost exclusively game Taylormades.

@Zhen
I played 770s for a long time. I remember the Vietnam sticker because I’m 1/2 Vietnamese.

Yeah these are incredibly fake.

@KAY
And the dogs for free.

Ayyy foot tax.

@KAY
Sad as these are legit how shitty the TM stamp looks now.

Jaggedness in the T.

A’s look different.

No wonder they are easy to fake.

You are so right. These are straight from the source, but after I took the pic I noticed all the things you pointed out as well. The dude above’s M6 set looks so much cleaner.

@KAY
Yeah that was exactly what I was comparing to!

@KAY
Damn, I need new clubs y’all.

Hard to believe that’s only 5 rounds. I believe Stealth irons are cast, not forged. Those look like my old ass cast RACs after 15 years of use. My forged irons I got last year with 20 rounds on them look newer than those.

@Han
Regardless of whether they are real or not, that is 100% not only 5 rounds of use. Maybe it’s 5 rounds and a couple dozen range sessions.

Thanks everyone for the feedback! I decided to not get these, and I’ll look into getting a set from GlobalGolf or Callaway Preowned, or perhaps buying them new somewhere.

Good call. I pulled out my Stealths to compare and maybe it’s just the picture quality but those look pretty questionable to me. I’m no expert so I wouldn’t say “fake” with authority, but I wouldn’t risk it myself.
