I almost played the home course this summer but went to Salish Cliffs instead. Now I think I just need to go back and play both again along with Chambers. Just gotta hit the lottery or something.

Sending good vibes that that lottery winner manifests for you so you can get back out here and play 'em.
If so, Steilicoom is a great little spot in between both courses—15 minutes and you’re at either one of these world-class courses.

Salish Cliffs is a fun track too! And YES to play all 3!
Super fun track, I try and get out there once a year to play it.

I hear it plays slow, like 5+ hours. I’m not a patient golfer. I haven’t played there in 20 years though.
The course always held up well in the wet months.
@Brady
It’s better, but I’m sure on the perfect weather days in the summer it’s 5 hours. That tee sheet gets packed. But I’m in the men’s club there and I play it regularly (not on weekends) and I finish up in the 4-4.5 hour range.
@Hayden
Yeah 4-4.5 is fine for a foursome.
@Hayden
I’d love to play this with you sometime! I’d be honored to get the inside scoop on how the approach playing this track.
DM me if you’d be interested.
@Brady
It’s slow during the summer when they have the stay and play deal. Outside of that though, it’s just like any other public course imo.
Yes I always suggest that track to Tacoma/Seattle bound golfers.
It’s really well laid out and they do a great job with the maintenance.
What a “dynamite” looking tee box. I didn’t remember those markers.
@Vann
Dynamite tee markers are the tips. Past the black markers. It’s over 7400 yards.
Oh, The Home Course.
It’s my home course! Great track.
Love that course.
My favorite course to play for the price. Played there last week, such a well-balanced course with plenty of history and unique hole layouts.
Awesome course. That front bunker on the par 3 was nasty. The marshal told us at the start don’t be in that bunker then came to watch us hit, and I went in the bunker. And of course he had to comment on that.
I had an errant shot that stuck me next to one of the old bunkers (dynamite storage, not sand traps) there once; I’ve not experienced pressure on a golf course like having to hit a shot to clear a concrete wall 6 feet in front of me.
The home course is awesome.
I played this on a Seattle golf trip, along with Chambers, Salish Cliffs and Gold Mountain. I liked this course a ton, Better than Salish and Gold Mountain.
Love that track.
