When you call in sick on a 75 degree So Cal winter day

Buddy scored a morning tee at Los Verdes Golf in LA. Muni course with ocean and Catalina island views.

Love that hole. How did you play it? I always go hero ball and end up in that front bunker!

I only played here once when I was visiting LA. Ended up on that little patch of grass between the two bunkers.

Damn bogey! I always pull the ball when I try to kill it and ended up close to the next hole (par 3) tee box.

11th at Los Verdes. Beautiful.

That’s my home course! Love it there. Drove that green on Thanksgiving for the first time!

That’s awesome. In my head that’s what I do as I approach the box.

Golf reality has other ideas.

@Blair
Well I play here around 10 times a year and have done it once…definitely not my norm haha.

Cough… cough… cough.

Me sitting in my gray cubicle while it’s below freezing outside; “Thanks, I’m happy for you.”

Man that course is epic but sometimes painfully slow!

I’d give my right nut to be with you my boi.

Sounds like a pretty sick day.

Hope you feel better.

Great course with great views. Love the greens, every putt breaks towards the ocean and sometimes in mind-bending ways.

I can never get a tee time here before noon, what’s the secret?

78 and calm in Santa Barbara–La Purisima calls.

Here, all the leaves are brown and the sky is gray.
