I’m a complete beginner when it comes to golf, but I just started working as a bartender at a local golf course, and I want to create a fun and enjoyable playlist for the carts and the restaurant.
I know the right music can really set the mood, so I’d love to hear from all of you: what kind of music do you like to listen to while playing or relaxing at the course? Any specific songs or artists that you think would be a hit?
Don’t listen to those old bogey fogeys, OP! Blast nothing but K-pop on the biggest speakers you can safely fit in the golf cart, and watch how many friends you make!

I play a lot of work golf with guys around 50/55, I think they all listen to the same modern country playlist with Whiskey Myers and the like. It’s gotten old, but every time I take a new client out it’s the same playlist! Texas oilfield country music mix or something…
Live Grateful Dead is the perfect music for the golf course…
I’ve got this playlist I made, and I started playing the Masters theme when we tee off one day. It’s turned into a tradition that nobody really asked for, but my buddy Ron won’t play without it! After that, I just shuffle it around. I add and remove songs often enough, and it’s lasted for rounds with about 20,000 listens. The only downside is that I use YouTube Premium for my music and stuff.
Spotify has some awesome golf cart playlists… There’s a ton of classic and '80s rock, but some of them are more modern too.
