Not getting old is a bigger problem.

Still rocking my 712 AP2’s :metal:

Say you wouldn’t happen to have a shaft for the 3 iron by any chance?

I broke mine in an unfortunate incident trying to unlock my truck through the passenger window after locking the keys inside :tired_face:.

@Ode
But did you get the truck unlocked?

Not with the 3 iron… :man_facepalming:

Electrician walked by and saw what I was doing, came back with a fish tape and snagged them off the center console for me.

@Ode
Only 4-pw I’m afraid, never gamed a 3 iron. I can attest to the fact that golf shafts don’t get along with car doors :confused:

Haha all good. I loved that 3 iron, but for some reason I thought I could slip it in the open crack of the window, twist it and use the head to hit the unlock button.

What actually happened though was the shaft bent immediately :man_facepalming:

Also my heads definitely didn’t wear like yours :sweat_smile:.

You can have my wife whenever you need, king.

@Mica
Yeah, that’s nuts! The OP has wear patterns just a bit to the inside of the ultimate sweet spot; still amazingly consistent but then there’s Tiger. I have a mirror image of the OP’s: just to the outside as for a long time I’ve had a steep, slightly OTT swing, which is going away and I’m seeing the ball striking marks migrating inward and forming an oval.

Damn, all I read was you were orgasming in the basement.

Same.

/r/humblebrag.

Get those bad boys cleaned up, reshafted and gripped… get them back into play!

How many hits does it take to have your clubs like this?

They’ll never look like this unless you have a very consistent swing! That being said, if you often hit balls that are damp from recently being washed and the range is sandy, which is typical if it gets reseeded often, then these marks will show up quickly. Grit on range balls can leave marks on the clubs after only a couple of range sessions.

If you are playing a money match against an unknown and you see ball marks like this, make sure you’re getting plenty of strokes.

@Sloan
This is like the cauliflower ears of golf?

Yut…

CHECK THIS OUT…!

Sweet spots on your clubs worn to bare fuckin’ metal.

Keep flexin’, papa…

You golfing as a junior, better than 99.9% of us.

We see it, we get it.

How long does it take for these wear patterns to appear?

For me around 1.5 years or 2 years for them to actually get started wearing. But I also play 5 or 6 rounds a week and hit range balls every day. So, take that into account.

Not all that long tbh, if you don’t clean your face each shot. That’s what does it.
