Hey Gs… I recently played a round at Sand Hollow in St. George, Utah, and I can’t help but feel that Utah golf is seriously underrated. Hole 11 there is just stunning…
I know the course was dealing with some worm issues, so it wasn’t in perfect shape, but the layout and scenery were still amazing. Has anyone else played there recently? What are your thoughts on the course and any tips for getting the most out of a round there? Also, which other Utah courses do you think deserve more love?
This is usually one of the best courses around, but I played last week, and the conditions were just ridiculous. I don’t know what’s going on, but I’d skip this course for a bit.
Go play Green Spring Golf Course in Washington County. Another great course in the St George area.
Epic view and a nice drive, but the tee box was super rough

The tee boxes were definitely the worst part, but overall it was super fun to play. The views were unbelievable, and there were some really cool holes…

97-100. But hey, good for them! It had the most water available on a course I’ve seen lately—almost every 2 or 3 holes…
Black Desert out that way was otherworldly! I played it a month ago, and I can’t recommend it highly enough. Make sure to get the jalapeño brisket tacos at the turn…you won’t regret it
