What’s wrong with Outkick?

LOL. That guy is a snitch though

The players who spent thousands in entry fees (plus travel and lodging) for the events needed to qualify for the Monday Q are rightfully angry. They got pushed aside

Change my mind: This is the PGA version of the NHL EBUG

What exactly happened to get into the tournament besides the usual clerical error excuse? Did a buddy let them slide? What’s the deal?

A guy just made a mistake. Stuff happens to everyone

Basically, some players don’t have to do a pre-qualifier before a Monday qualifier. These individuals didn’t have that exemption and were told they did, so they skipped the pre-qualifier.

They didn’t do anything wrong, it was just a clerical error

@Remi
I understand that, I read the article but what was the specific clerical error that allowed them to bypass the qualifier and pre? When they signed up, they probably had to provide proper paperwork like everyone else, but when they were asked for it, they had nothing but still got into the tournament without the right documents

Funny thing is those four players are good. Not shocked that two of them made it

Wasn’t there a movie about something like this?

Phantom of the Open! In my opinion, a fantastic family sports movie about a real-life, legendary and totally delusional man

@Avery

The podcast was pretty funny

puts on a tin foil hat The PGA saw the love for Michael Block, so why not multiply it by two and add more drama

That article doesn’t give any more info than the first one
