Titleist Font - Opinion

Hello,
I’m buying my golf friends a bag for their golf balls this Christmas. My wife has some small bags and a machine that cuts designs. I asked her to make a bag with “John Doe’s ball sack” written on it. I want it to look like the Titleist font, but I know that’s a special font. I’m wondering if Microsoft Word or another program has a font that looks similar. It doesn’t have to be exactly the same.

Creating a custom bag with a playful twist like “John Doe’s Ball Sack” is a fun idea. While the Titleist font is unique and not directly available as a standard font in most programs, there are similar fonts you can use to achieve a similar look. Here are some options this are my opinions though  LOL:

  1. Hand-Drawn Approach:
  • Since the Titleist logo was originally hand-drawn back in the 1930s, you could consider creating your own custom design. Use your wife’s machine to cut the letters in a style reminiscent of the Titleist script. This way, you’ll have a truly unique and personalized bag.
  1. Similar Fonts:
  • While not identical, some fonts have a similar vibe to the Titleist script. You can explore these options:
    • Handsome Pro Regular
    • Braisetto Font Family
    • Garris Regular
  1. Customize Existing Fonts:
  • If you find a font that’s close but not quite there, you can modify it slightly to match the Titleist style. Adjust the letter spacing, curves, and angles to get the desired look.

Remember that the charm lies in the playful twist and the personal touch you’re adding to the gift.
Have fun creating your custom golf ball bag, and I am sure your golf friends will appreciate the humor!

Hilarious gift idea! While copying Titleist’s font exactly might be tricky, there are options:

  • Simple fonts: Skip fancy fonts. Basic fonts like “Impact” or “Futura” in bold can give a clean, sporty look.
  • Focus on design: Let your wife’s machine create a cool design! A fun image with simple text can be just as eye-catching.
