Surprised by the Challenge at Oasis Golf Club

I just played a round at the Oasis Golf Club on the Palmer Course, and wow, what an experience! Honestly, I thought it would be a straightforward day since the course looked pretty short from the tee. I mean, with views like this, how hard could it be, right?

Well, I was in for a rude awakening! The course turned out to be much tougher than I anticipated. I ended up donating way too many Calloways to the desert—definitely not my proudest moment. And the craziest part? It wasn’t even windy!

Has anyone else played here? I’d love to hear your thoughts on the course and any tips for conquering it. How do you manage the challenges without losing too many balls?

Damnnn …aint a fan of this course. The downhill par 5s are super tight because of the elevation change, and there’s only like 3 yards of rough on each side before you hit bushes and rocks. Plus, it’s usually windy in Mesquite, which makes it nearly impossible to keep a ball in play.

Bring a rock club  At this point, all your clubs should basically just be rock clubs!

I love courses built into natural features but that looks brutally narrow :blush:lol

It’s a tough course, but it was still really fun.
