Apparently there were a lot of trees up the left on 13 that came down, to the point of almost being able to see the green. Just brutal.
The damage here looks severe, but it’s nowhere near as bad as other areas of Augusta. No one escaped unscathed in this part of Georgia. That being said, the course will be pristine by April, with changes to holes that will be discussed ad nauseum by broadcasters because of Helene.

In 2025, we will have made a limited amount of Masters merchandise available online at obscene prices for you to purchase. I found the money!

yes, yes they do
@Clancy
It’s because the government guided the weather to other areas. They had to let it hit the course slightly to keep the image but then moved it elsewhere.

except they didn’t. They didn’t create the hurricane, they didn’t steer it or any of that. Georgia is very much as vulnerable to hurricanes as Florida, SC, and NC. This was just bad luck on the path.

I believe he was joking, but this is Reddit, so now I’m not sure.

i doubt it. I’ve seen too much nonsense about this and the HAARP theory; it’s making me lose faith in humanity.

My bad everyone, it was not serious. But I guess people might actually take it seriously…yikes.

So many people can’t tell fiction from reality online that it makes it hard to know when someone actually doesn’t believe in reality.

You can’t be serious.
Just me, or do the bunkers look like they’re empty of sand?

I believe they empty their bunkers during the summers.

I believe you’re correct. Watched a guy get booted from the Masters in ’12 for scooping up bunker sand.
@Kiran
I can understand why. Their bunker sand is a proprietary blend not allowed at other courses. For all they knew, that spectator could’ve been trying to steal a sample.
