There are many apps available, and I am currently using ‘Gamegolf.’ Although I have an older version, it remains quite useful. Since you might not know exactly what you want from a golf app, I recommend checking out YouTube under “golf apps” for a variety of options.

I use a Garmin S60 watch to track distances to the green and keep my score during rounds. I can download my rounds to the Garmin Connect app, where I can review historical data and monitor improvements in areas like fairways hit and number of putts. I appreciate the S60 because it functions not only as a golf watch but also as a comprehensive activity tracker, monitoring running, walking/hiking, rowing, swimming, and more.

I found my perfect app that is so simple to use that I haven’t felt the need to switch. I started with Android in 2010 and switched to iPhone in 2015, trying every app available on both platforms. Many apps are overly complex when all I want is a straightforward way to know how far to hit the ball. Since 2020, I’ve been using only one app, the most user-friendly mobile golf GPS rangefinder I could find, developed by Mozosoft Apps.
