There’s a hole exactly like this on a course near me, Twenty Valley. Except it’s a huge rock face, and the tee is way further back, lol.
Easy hole! Blade it into the hillside after trying to get more loft. Illegal drop at the top of the hill (no +1).
This looks exactly like #8 at Split Rock Golf Course in Ohio.
It is indeed at Edgebrook. I remember just barely making it up that incline with a wedge from the tee box.
Savage hole.
This place is in the running for worst course in the world.
Rouge Park in Detroit has a similar par three. That tee shot keeps me up at night.
It’s lazy design to do this on a par 3, in my opinion, but I do love short par 4s with elevated greens like this. It doesn’t necessarily need to be over a hazard, but those shots are fun once or twice a round.
My local has a short uphill slight dogleg par 4 with a super elevated green. It’s fun hitting a high wedge or short iron into it and then running up the hill to see how close you got.
@Abi
Lazy how? You start in a valley and finish on top of a hill. It’s not blind. You can see the flag on the right side.
