I tried a 7 wood and a 4 hybrid to replace my 4 iron. The 7 wood went a little further. My swing is ok, and the wood was about as far as my 3 hybrid. The 4 hybrid worked best for me.

It’s like a 4.5h. You could still use a 4h and use this over a 3h, depending on your own distances.

A 7 wood can go 220-230. It replaced a driving iron for me. I still have a 4 iron but only use it when I need a shot over 210 or to keep the ball low.

Haha, true… I could have been more clear that it’s between a 4 wood and a 4 Iron.

But it’s a fun club that I found way better than a 2 iron.

I got a g425 9 wood to try out and I could not hit it a good distance. I would hit three in a row 200 and then one 220 and then a bad one that went 175.

They’ve been talked about a lot on this forum for a year or so, because I’ve been trying to find one for that long.

7 wood or a big 3/4 hybrid are good options. Try both and see what works best.
