They’re colored Sharpies, which unfortunately fade a bit on every shot, but the good news is they don’t see much use before someone else finds them in the woods. I wish I could be there when someone finds Ugly Sonic.

Clear lacquer/clearcoat spray may help. I’ve never tried it, but it should work in theory.

I suspect that might affect ball flight a bit too much to be worthwhile if he actually wants to play these balls and not just display.
