I golfed in LA over the summer and was absolutely stunned by the amount of walkers on the course. Renting a ride cart seems to be taboo. I’m in NorCal and all courses are the opposite.

That’s odd, my home course is in the Riverside area and I’ve never walked a course down here. When I came up to play in South Bay area, cart fees were $35 bucks and everyone had a pushcart.

Courses have gotten so expensive; it’s worth saving the $15-$18 cart fee to just walk.

You’re not wrong. Being landlocked, a lot of the city courses are walkable, and hell, it is SoCal. That’s why we pay the SoCal tax to live here!
