Jack’s Point, Queenstown NZ

Absolutely worth the 28-hour flight, a full week battling jet lag, $16 beers, losing 7 Pro V1s, and dropping $400 in the pro shop.

Okeh

God I’m happy to see these pictures. Proposed to my wife 11.5 years ago in the Earnslaw Burn, and came here and played 18 (she rode the cart with me) the last day before it closed for the winter a few days after. Such an awesome track, and the day I played it was really tough with a 2-3 club wind ripping off the lake and temperatures in the low 40s.

All I have is a polo and some photos; really want to go back someday!

Golf AND New Zealand. Ain’t no way. Looks amazing.

I played a little par 3 in Queenstown right by the airport a couple months ago. Crappy rental clubs + holes being measured in meters + jetlag = one hell of an adventurous round but was still a blast.

The Remarkables mountain range (seen in the 1st and 5th pictures here I believe) really is uh… remarkable and you have to see it to believe the scale.

La dee da Mr. I only lose 7 balls in a round.

What’s the weather like this time of year?

It was regularly around 25 degrees (Celsius) and sunny for the two weeks I spent there (end of Nov/start of Dec). The odd cloudy and rainy day and some very strong winds depending on where you’re positioned against the mountains.

That looks amazing!

Thanks for sharing these incredible pictures that bring back a lot of good memories from this place!

On my bucket list.
