Hey guys,
Am kinda new to golf—I’ve only played one round with a friend. I saw that I can book an early tee time tomorrow for less than $30, but my friend is out of town for a football game.
Would it be weird to go play by myself? I’m just wondering if it’s something others do or if it’s better to wait until my friend is back.

I play solo all the time. My first year golfing, like 90% of my rounds were by myself.
If you get paired up with a group, just play at a good pace, don’t get angry, and avoid giving advice. Enjoyyyyy
Playing solo is fun for me. Just a heads up, though … they might pair you up with others.
Nah. But if you want to make it weird, order some clown shoes and put spikes on them. Maybe even wear a red nose and a flower that shoots water…
I usually golf solo. I just like playing on my own schedule.
Solo golf can be a blast. If the course is empty, you can do whatever you want—play multiple balls, work on specific shots, you name it.
