Maybe a silly question, but I ordered a wedge flex and received the S200 in my new MG3’s. It doesn’t feel quite the same. Could this be a mistake from Taylormade, or are these shafts the same or interchangeable?
That is what it is. Evaluate the step sequence. Unless this is a novel situation, S200 aren’t even available for whole iron sets.
Yes, but you need to order them. The S200, S300, and S400 are gradually being phased out. The new Callaway and Cleveland wedges come with the DG Spinner, and I believe the Vokey wedges now officially have the spinners as well.
The DG S200 has been the standard stock wedge shaft for numerous companies, especially with Titleist Vokeys for years. If you only have the information “True Temper Dynamic Gold Wedge Flex,” it’s likely referring to an S200 shaft.
I previously had a TT DG S200 shaft in a Callaway MD2. I believe it’s likely the standard stiff wedge shaft that some manufacturers use.
The S200 is the standard wedge shaft in the Taylormade Milled Grind. It’s an excellent wedge shaft. I might be mistaken, but I think the tip section is slightly longer than on an S300 shaft to help increase spin on chip shots.
It’s identical to that. Examine the step sequence in comparison.
