Colt asks the humans for assistance when the queen is in need of medical attention. He knows where to look for them, somehow. Before, I didn’t give it much thought, but after seeing it again, I realized that it merely occurs without much context. So why is that the case?

I believe he flew around the nest a little while with White Flag, merely searching for them, as he unlikely knew where they were from the beginning.

Through a combination of his scouting skills and the information given by other Chimera Ants, Colt, a Chimera Ant, finds Knov and Morel in the anime and manga series Hunter x Hunter.

Colt used a tracking ability through Nen, the fictional energy system in “Hunter x Hunter,” to locate Knov and Morel based on their aura signatures.

That’s a somewhat silly question. Colt may have flown about for hours searching for them because we have no idea how long it has been since he left the nest. Besides, he knew they were close to the nest because they had been eliminating squadrons there, so all he needed was time to locate them.
