Golf in the Foliage Season

Had the whole course to myself at Killington today in Vermont. I’ve got to say, it feels amazing to wear sleeves for once after enduring so many sweaty rounds this summer.

Nice pics. New Englanders are known for keeping nice golf courses.

I played at Mt Snow many years ago, but this photo really brought back memories. You are lucky!

I played there last week. The greens were super fast and that course punishes you if you miss the fairway. It was a long day!

So fast! I left so many putts short, and they seemed to roll on forever. Not usually a good thing for me.

If anyone is thinking about going to Killington to play golf, you should definitely check out Green Mountain National before hitting the actual Killington Mountain course.

Yeah, Fox Run is great.

Fall golfers, remember that red and orange balls are not your friends when the leaves start falling.

This is why I love golf in the fall!

The history and all that beautiful foliage. I can’t escape Lisa, our little walking library.

The courses I drove by in the Adirondacks looked amazing this weekend!

Wow, I’d have a hard time focusing on the golf with those views.

The colors and elevation change are so different for me. In South Louisiana, we really just have two seasons: hot and not as hot.

I really appreciate this. I love living here for the real change in seasons!

I really want to get out there. I haven’t been in weeks and I’m itching to play.

It’s hoodie weather for golf and back to using white balls.

And what a great view too. Wow, I’m jealous.

Really beautiful.

Absolutely stunning. You don’t get that in Florida!

Fifteen of us are playing in northern Vermont tomorrow, Friday, and Saturday. It’s going to be awesome!
