I therefore have a higher swing speed and am a mid-to-high handicapper (shooting in the low 90s, perhaps in the upper 80s if I am lucky). When it comes to sticking with one ball, I do not know where to begin. Does anyone know of any recommendations?

Wilson Duo Soft.
They are not expensive and are genuinely excellent. Very underrated.

I agree with this! In general, Wilson is a somewhat underappreciated golf brand, but their dual softs are fantastic! I am not sure why, but the off-white coloration of a softball gives me confidence when I smash it. It seems like a ridiculous (and maybe insane) point.
