First hit with my new wedge

For irons, yes. But for wedges, it’s fine to be a bit toed. In a clean lie it matters, but if you’re in a tougher situation, you might need to use that bounce and more of the toe treating the wedge differently.

@Marin
Totally agree. You don’t always need to strike the sweet spot. Trying to hit it could be the wrong strategy. Like if a ball is buried in thick grass, better to use the bounce and play it off the toe.

I just got mine about a month ago, 56 in K14 grind. It’s been great so far

Can’t hit fat off the mat

-coach McGinley at my HS

You would have chunked this on the course

That brushed nickel looks amazing

I really need to replace my oil can SM5, but I’m sad they discontinued them. This one is tempting me

You should see my diamond dusted pure spins. They felt like sandpaper outside the grooves but came with covers that wore off the grip. Also, they’re 15 years old lol

My 58 is in the same situation. The grooves are just worn

@Kellen
True. But the lower the loft, the higher the chance… just saying

Grooves are so messed up now

When will the frame arrive, and what material did you go with?

One and done

What kind of club is it?

Titleist SM10

Center cut, nicely done

Let this be a lesson. Never flush a new club. You’re wearing down the spot you’ll rarely hit again.

Guess it’s time to retire the club

Looks like you hit a Kirkland ball

Time to retire the wedge
