Congrats! Hit em well.
Beautiful.
Hell yeah! Where’d you get fitted? I went to Fossil Trace for my last fitting but am looking to try new places for the next one.

Specifically, work with Spencer at the Westminster PGA Superstore. He’s a wizard in the fittings!!
Now you need new wedges…

I don’t get to play as much as before… being in Denver with real winter and I have a 3-year-old. As soon as she’s old enough to go with me, fingers crossed she wants to, I’ll be out there all the time.
So I replace my 60 every 2 years, and the 50 and 55 every 3. At least that’s the plan…
Just got those as well except I put KBS Tour Black shafts on. Enjoy!!

I was originally thinking I’d get the Project X 6.0 LZ and if I had, I would have gotten the black version for sure. Unfortunately, the IO doesn’t have that option and I hit them so much better. I bet they look awesome with a black shaft!!
@Ira
Nice!!! The Bronze looks great!!
We gotta get what we hit best!!

I’m upgrading from the original SIM Max game improvement irons from like 5 years ago. They were nice irons, but the huge heads were definitely limiting, and my spin/shot height was off the charts.
The P790’s were the perfect balance of a game improvement players iron for me. I’m super excited to get them in.
Hey, your wedge gapping is interesting to me. Can you help me understand why you play a 60, 54, 50 instead of a 60, 56, 52, 48?

100%… the 54 is bent strong to 55. So it’s actually 50, 55, 60.
It’s perfect gapping for me. While I never hit them full, stock 60 is 101 yards, 55 is 112, and 50 is about 125.
In reality, I rarely hit the 60 more than 80 yards and I never hit the 55 over 105. The 50 I will hit full.
I’m actually currently working on a wedge matrix with my coach to create a clock system in the backswing and follow through to create certain yardages with each wedge vs feel.
Very nice. What bag is that, please?

That is a Jones Golf Trouper 3.0… it’s the 2021 model. The current models have nicer straps but overall the same design. Big fan of the bag and the company!
@Noor
Thought it was Jones. I’m currently considering their Rover bag.
I see you use the Jaws wedges. Are they Jaws Raw or regular ones? How do you like them?

They’re the Jaws Raw. I’ve had them for 2 years and they’re good. I can’t think of anything that makes them stand out from the Vokey SM8 wedges I played before…
I do like the 60.08Z grind, but Callaway made that grind specific to the $240 Opus wedge, which is annoying.
TBH, I got a Cleveland RTX 6 Tour Rack (sale for $129) to replace the 60 and man, it feels much softer compared to Vokey and the Jaws wedges. It also gives me more spin from when these were new. I’ll be replacing the 55 and 50 next year with the same Tour Rack wedges.
Nice!!
